Welcome to the North Hykeham Dramatic Society website.

Now in our 51st Year, NHDS is a small, friendly community theatre company, based in North Hykeham, Lincolnshire.

Over the years we have won many awards for our quality drama productions, but we enjoy staging light-hearted comedies and thrillers, too! We aim to present two or three shows a year at The Terry O'Toole Theatre, North Hykeham, including a play in May and September and, in recent years, the hugely popular Hykeham Community Pantomime every January.

NHDS membership is open to anyone with an interest in theatre - whether you are an experienced 'old stager' or new to amateur drama, why not come along to one of our rehearsal nights, you'll be very welcome!

NHDS does NOT run a Youth Theatre programme, but young people under the age of 18 may join if accompanied at rehearsals by an adult family member.

If acting isn't your thing, theatre enthusiasts with practical skills are always very welcome. So if you'd like to help design and create sets, props or costumes, help front of house or join the backstage crew, then get in touch!
